This website is operated by Production Investment Exchange Ltd ("PIE", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under number 17376496, with its registered office at 31 Orleans Road, Twickenham, England, TW1 3BJ.

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site. These terms cover the public website only. Any investment opportunity shared with an eligible investor is subject to its own documents and risk warnings, in addition to these terms.

2. Our regulatory status

PIE is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

We communicate information about investment opportunities only to people who fall within the exemptions described in our Risk & Regulatory Disclosure. Protections that normally apply to investments made through an authorised firm, including access to the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, do not apply. Please read that notice in full before you register or sign any eligibility statement.

3. Who this site is for

This site is directed at people in the United Kingdom. Specific investment opportunities are shared only with certified high net worth individuals and certified or self-certified sophisticated investors, who must sign a statement confirming that they fall into one of those categories before any opportunity is shown to them.

It is your responsibility to make sure that the statement you sign is true. We may ask for further information to verify it, and we may decline or withdraw access at any time. Nothing on this website is directed at, or intended for, any person in a place where its publication or use would be unlawful.

4. No advice and no offer

The content of this website is provided for information only. It is not an offer, an invitation or an inducement to buy or sell any investment, and it is not investment, legal, tax or accounting advice. Nothing here is a personal recommendation.

Investing in a theatre or independent film production carries a high degree of risk, including the loss of all of the money you invest. Do not invest more than you can afford to lose. If you are in any doubt about whether an investment is suitable for you, speak to someone who specialises in advising on this kind of investment.

We do not handle investor money through this website. Any investment is agreed and completed directly between an investor and a production, outside PIE's systems.

5. Using the site

You may use this website for your own lawful, personal or business enquiries. You must not:

• use the site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or misleading, including by giving false information in an enquiry or an eligibility statement;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting or any connected system, or interfere with how it works;
• copy, scrape or republish material from the site in bulk, or use it to build a competing database or service;
• use the site to send us unsolicited promotional material.

6. Information you send us

The forms on this website open an email addressed to contact@pie-x.co.uk, pre-filled with the details you entered. Nothing is sent until you send that email from your own email account, and we receive only what you choose to send.

Please make sure the details you give are accurate and up to date. We will use what you send us to respond to your enquiry and, where you have asked, to send you information about PIE. We handle personal information in line with applicable UK data protection law. Our privacy policy sets out the detail.

7. Intellectual property

The PIE name, logo, website design, text and images are owned by or licensed to us, and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the site and print or save a copy of a page for your own use. You may not otherwise reproduce, adapt or distribute any part of it without our written permission.

Productions listed or described by PIE remain the property of their creators and producers. Nothing on this website transfers any right in a production, its name or its underlying intellectual property to you.

8. Third-party content and links

The site may refer to, or link to, material provided by productions, partners or other third parties. We do not control that material and are not responsible for its content or accuracy. A link is not an endorsement. Any statement by a production about its projected costs, revenue or returns is that production's own, and is illustrative rather than a forecast.

9. Availability and accuracy

We aim to keep the website available and its content accurate, but we do not promise that it will be free from interruption or error. PIE is an early-stage company and its structure, processes and regulatory position are still developing, so information on the site may change or become out of date. We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, including any investment decision you make. The site is provided "as is", for information only.

We may change these terms from time to time, for example as our regulatory position develops. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the website, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, although if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
